I've been trying to rediscover some make up that i've
neglected over the summer. A lot of these should really
appeal to people like me who have some early-as-heck
wake up calls. Curious to see some recommendations from
a make-up obsessed barista? Follow the jump!
Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette
This has been one of my favorite palettes over
the year, (If you'd like to see my review the link is here)
it is so worth every penny I payed. The top shadow
i've reached for this month has got to be 'Satin Sheets'!
Just look at that iridescence! This shadow is the definition of
a pearl finish. While I wish it leaned a little more pink and
less gold, no other shadow makes my eyes look more
awake than this.
Victorias Secret 'Love Spell' Perfumes
I recently feature this perfume in my monthly empties
post (link here) and I was quite sad to see it go.
This is just an nice summer to fall transition perfume
as I consider it a little heavy (the cherry blossom notes
give it a solid base) but also some strong notes of
peach to make it a bit sweet. Definitely will
continue to use the body mist!
MAC Viva Glam V
This is another product that will soon be leaving my
stash and I am clinging onto it for dear life! I've used
this lipstick for so long, and it's such an easy no-brainer
product to use. It goes with literally everything!
Sonia Kashuk Gel Liner in Cocoa
I don't think i've ever featured this gel liner on this blog
before but it is a true workhorse product! The color
isn't anything too exciting (unlike satin sheets), it's just a
matte dark brown. However this lasts quite a long time,
doesn't flake (unlike my drying L'Oreal Infallible) and
has been my go-to liner for work days.
This was a part of my two-year anniversary gift from my
boyfriend and I have been using the heck out of it.
I find this makes for a less-intense brightening lid
color. So for days when I feel like whipping out a full
eye (rather than just sweeping satin sheets all over)
I have been reaching for this.
Hope you all enjoyed and are getting a bit more sleep than
I am! By the way, if any of you are going through mid-terms
like I am, I wish you luck!!!
