This month has been really interesting for me!
A new favorite, and a revisiting of some old go-to's in
my stash. As some of you know, I got a hair cut
so I thought i'd freshen up my routine by branching
out and seeing how some current products would
work differently for me with a new color to my hair.

Garnier BB Cream for Oily/Combination
I saw such positive reviews of this product that I recently
splurged (hey, twelve dollars for a foundation is a splurge!)
While it doesn't quite live up to all of it's claims (my review
will be up within a week) the natural finish did garner
me some compliments from my boyfriend. For summer
this natural finish is really beautiful on the skin. It helps
to even out my redness, and also helps control shine.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse
My hair was recently colored a bit darker this month, and
while the stylist was kind enough to color my brows, I
have found myself using this brow mousse for days when
I want a stronger brow. The brush it comes with makes it
super easy even for a novice like me to use. Definitely

MAC Viva Glam V
The next time you all see this will probably be in an empties
post! When I realized how used up this lipstick is I wanted
to cry. With the new hair color, I feel like this lipstick
has never looked better on me! If you have honey brown hair
and light coloring this is a perfect shade for everyday.
Especially with my thinner lips, this lip stick helps to make
them look more full and pouty.

I'm still struggling with the learning curve of how to
style my new asymmetrical bob (curling the ends and such)
however this mousse has helped to lock in the curl I do
manage to make in my hair. Used very sparingly, it doesn't
weigh my fine hair down at all, and I really love the
classic Aussie smell it has!
