So apparently this bronzer by ELF is 'New!', or so says the box's
corner. But my suspicious nature thinks otherwise. If this has
already been reviewed to death I apologize, but I've never tried
bronzer before so I thought I could risk the $3 and make my first
foray with this!
Click the jump for my thoughts on the packaging, formula,
various uses, and overall rating.
The first thing you'll notice with the packaging is that (much
like NARS) it's a fingerprint magnet! Oh, how I miss the pristine
black it once was, but the sleekness of this bronzer, along with
the mirror makes me feel more forgiving.
The formula of this bronzer is decent. Considering the price,
the formula is excellent, but if you judge this by the same set of
standards you would for a more expensive product, then this is
just okay. This is NOT a matte bronzer, it has a good deal
of shimmer to it. Wearing this over my foundation, I got
about 4 hours of wear from this. However, the pigmentation
of this bronzer is excellent! Look at the swatches below to see
what I mean:

Some of the uses i've gotten out of this is what's made me really
happy I bought this! I love to wear the light shades as a highlighter
for my face, and I'll swirl all the shades together for a bronzer.
The peachy shade in the upper right works nicely as a blush
for me as well. As eye shadows the light shades really perform.
The darker ones are pretty subtle but I think for a quick
summer eye it works really well! Every time I wear this on
I really feel like a shimmering, greek godess! I know that sounds
dramatic but i've been pale my whole life so a little tan coloring
on my face is exciting.

Overall: I wish there was a matte shade in this palette
but the amount of use i've gotten out of this palette
has made me fall in love. I'm really curious now to try
out ELF's other face products.
