I've finally had some precious time to myself in the mornings
to actually savor my make up routine. Today, I wanted something
neutral but sexy. If you have both the palettes mentioned
this might be a look you want to try, it's so easy and
even if you don't have these palettes it's something that
can be replicated with other shadows.
So what did I do!?
Lids: Too Faced Boudoir Eye shadows in
Birthday Suit blended all over the lid (do not go above
the brow, however.) I felt it was a little too dark for
day time, so to lighten it up I pressed Satin Sheets on
top of it. This gave the lid shade a sheer golden glow to
it and added dimension to the over all look.
Crease: Lorac Pro Palette shadow in Taupe was blended
in the outer V, as well as the outer edge of the lid.
I then deepened the crease with the shade Mauve to
make the look a little sexier. (I find burgundies, mauves
and plums very bedroom-esque!) Finally I went
back to Too Faced's Boudoir Eye to add the
shade Voulez-Vous in the very outer edge and blended
into Mauve. This shade is perfect for brown/plum
looks because this shade itself can look plum or brown
depending on the lighting.
Lower Lashline: I took a pencil brush and made a thin
line along the lower lashes with Too Faced Boudoir
Eyes shadow in Garter Belt.
Upper Lashline: Finally, I took Rimmel's Scandal Eyes
liner in black and winged it out significantly.
Mascara: Maybelline's The Falsies Flared
Other Products Used:
Brows: Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Gel
in Medium Brown
Lips: the Balm Balm Shelter lip gloss in
Valley Girl (SO perfect for me!)
Hope you all enjoyed this look!
