I really love feminine looking products and when
ever I look at Rimmel's section of Target I always swoon!
They have the brightest and cutest packaging.
Lately, actually, i've been a bit adventurous
with mascara. My usual CG Lash Blast just hasn't
been capturing my attention lately, and when I saw
this mascara I caved in and bought it. I've actually
seen one of my favorite Youtube girls, Rachel Whitehurst
use this mascara so I trusted her as well.
If you'd like to see my thoughts on this follow the jump!
Packaging: Love the small details that Rimmel
uses, and this mascara is no exception. On the handle
of the brush there's the little crown logo printed as well
as a fishnet pattern. Very sexy and pretty!
Applicator/Formula: The wand is pretty unique (at least,
to me) each row is separate from the others by a good
amount which I think helps to give lashes that 'definition' that
Rimmel promises. It's definitely a smaller brush head
than that of CG's Lash Blast which actually makes it
a bit more time consuming (for me) to coat my lashes the
way I like. The formula is also really nice, it is different
from other mascaras i've tried in that it doesn't give
necessarily a 'feathery' look to the lashes, but it defines
each individual lash noticeably. I didn't buy the waterproof
formula (i've always been told that's bad for your eye lashes)
so it doesn't resist smudging when your eyes do happen
to water. But, it is easily wiped away and when that
happened to me today it didn't mess up the way my lashes
looked. Glam Eyes also holds a curl very well, when
I was taking off my make up tonight I noticed how my
lashes looked exactly the same as when I first applied the
mascara-which is something I can't say for Lash Blast.
(every now and then I notice my lashes just look different
than how they did when first applied)
|My lashes, in real life they looked much more defined|
Overall: This mascara does exactly what it
claims to do, which is to provide the lashes with
definition and volume. I really love the packaging,
the wear, and the change of pace (mascara wise)
it offers me!
