I though this would be a fun thing to write about.
When I mean '10 Products' I mean no palettes as in
just one product by itself! I can do a separate post
about my favorite palettes if anyone's interested
So here they are:
I have my foundation, setting powder, lip balm,
lip color, shadow base, neutral shadow,
crease shadow, liner, and mascara!
So here are my absolute favorites of all time...
First up is my Benefit 'RSVP' Creaseless
Cream Shadow: This works as a base, and as a lovely wash
of color all over the lid. It lasts all day on me and I find it
makes me look wide awake, as well as intensifying
the colors I put over it.
|Isn't it beautiful? You can really see the sheen here.|
I've only tried this fairly recently, it came with the
Benefit Neutrals kit, but you can see how much i've used
in the little time i've had it
Next is Urban Decay Shadow in 'Lost' I actually depotted it
from the Feminine Palette Urban Decay released. I put it
in the eye shadow single casing for 'Loaded'
because I don't care for the rest of that palette.
Of all the Urban Decay shadows I have, this has to be the absolute
dreamiest one to work with. This works well for any neutral
look, and in the crease and outer corner it can be a bit smokier.
This one is very budget friendly:
It's the Wet N Wild Color Icon Single Shadow
It may not look like much but it has a nice texture
(Although a bit powdery) and works to cancel out
any discoloration on my lid.
It can also work to add a little bit of matte to create
dimension in a look. Paired with thick black liner it can create
a mod look, and with a brown liner used thinly along
the lash line it's perfect for work.
I have featured this on my blog quite a bit!
But I love my L'Oreal Infallible Gel
Liner in Blackest Black.
Look at that picture below! I am nearly a third of the
way to using it all up! I really love this shadow
and wanted to include it because it also comes with
a nice brush to use it with. Part of the reason
I love it so much is the ease of use, and that
I can wing my liner quite easily with the brush.
One recent find is my Revlon Nearly Naked
Foundation in Ivory
I included this because there are days I want to even out
my rosacea a bit just so I can look more polished.
I've been really liking my Revlon Nearly Naked
Liquid Foundation because it really does look 'Naked'
it doesn't feel cakey or like a mask, but just like my skin,
just not... red!
If I use liquid foundation I need to have my Rimmel
Stay Matte Powder to set my face.
L'Oreal Colour Caresse in Rose On and On
I did a full review of this one with more picture but
long story short. This is my HG lip color.
Holy crap I have not found a more flattering
pink for my lips than this. Beautiful.
This shouldn't surprise anyone but I am in love
with my Covergirl Lash Blast. I have used up
about 5 tubes of this since I found it!
I haven't found a better mascara for my lashes than this.
Not only does it add volume to my lashes but it gives me
a crazy amount of length. I almost don't
miss my lash curler with this mascara.
I didn't take individual pictures of my lip balm,
as i'm using this particular one just to use it
up. My real favorite is Chapstick's Lip
Balm in Strawberry which I recently used up.
So there you have it! My absolute bare minimum make up
favorites. What are your must haves for make up?
I'd love to hear about essentials I might be missing
